I have a splash silkie and I heard if they are anxious then they could be sick and ever since we’ve got her she’s been happy and social but really scared.

It's kinda just the nature of birds to be skittish. Is she eating, drinking, pooping and (if of proper age) laying eggs normally? Is she getting picked on by the others?

She’s eating and drinking and pooping. She’s not laying and she’s 1 year old. She isn’t picked on. She lighter than birds that are younger than her. It’s concerning about how she acts because the other chickens are the complete opposite

Laying should start happening at around 5-6 months depending on the bird. Did she previously lay?

Silkies are considered bantams which are much smaller than your average bird. My biggest girl is probably around 8-10 pounds while my full grown silkie is around 3.

Could you go into details about some of the things that she is doing?

She did not.

There are only two chickens that aren’t bantam in my flock, I’m comparing her the the other bantams. (The bantams are Bantam buff Brahma, Silkies, and polish and my biggest girl in my flock is a silkie)

Shes acting normal but if anything or any chicken goes near her, she’ll make scared noises, especially if they are her siblings.
