I would like to build a coop for my house in the city... it has to be small... I was going to purchase one from CConly.com because I am not a very creative carpenter... I can use a saw and screw gun. Then I got to thinking I was going to leave the bottom off the little house as it had walking room under it so the chickens can hop up from the bottom. I know people are thinking ahhhh draft! but we're in sunny California and their is no wind in my backyard... so does anyone have any input. I have to build one for me than my friend is going to build his. I would like to do mine for under $500 as if I get caught by the city, i'll have to relocate them to the mountain house. Any suggestion where I could purchase a kit at a reasonable price. We have no snow and our elements are mild. thanks Pinky
