We can't be too far apart, I'm southwest of Boston.

I'm still new to chickens....this spring will complete my first year. About 30 chickens in the coop... all kinds of layers, silkies and bantam Ameraucanas.

I did get to the show in Indy and just went to the Poultry Congress.

I have a broodie silkie in the bathroom with 5 eggs due to hatch early next week. 11 eggs in the bator and 3 more eggs under another silkie. First time hatching, so we'll see how it goes.

May we should think about a gathering in the area this year.

Doesn't southeast of Boston....put you in the water??? And 40 miles north of Plymouth....put you NORTH of Boston??

Checking to see if us Baystaters are really paying attention?

How'd ja guess![IMG] I live in Weymouth. My son and I have gone to the New England Bantam Club Shows since last year and I love looking at all the birds. I got Miss MoneyPenny at the last one, don't tell DH. I've gone to Chickenstocks in CT and one out near Shrewsbury.
Maybe we can have one at MY HOUSE this year...

Checking in from WAAAAY out west in Berkshire County. I make it home (Boston) every so often. Next time will probably be June to see a show at the Tweeter Center. I grew up on the South Shore. I am picking up my 10-12 layers for the season this week. Talk to you soon! -Brian.

Hey Shelburne Falls!! We're not too far from each other. I'm near Pittsfield. Where'd you get your birds? There's a poultry farm about 1-1/2 hours from you in West Townsend. Good luck!

    Hello BeeJay,

I used to live in Cummington. So we were once even closer. I bought my chicks at the local Agway.
