I have to have one today and am a little concerned
I've had two or three now No big deal, just dont eat a lot before you go!
The hardest part is laying still for the x-ray.
it'll be fine.
I was told you have to run like a half mile on a treadmill
I surely hope they were joking ?
Hey there. I just had one and it was waaaay easier than I thought. I was not able to run the treadmill so they gave me the injection that makes your body think it is excersing (spelling?).
You only have to walk- run until your heart rate reaches a certain point and maintains that rate for a certain length of time. I believe that these rates are different for eveyrone based on age/weight etc.
Make sure you wear comfy clothes and shoes.
If they decide to do the injection cause for some reason you are unable to do the treadmill, the tech will explain everything to you step by step (at least mine did).
Best of luck!!
Thanks all for posting
Hopefully all goes right it cant be any worse than having the
stroke that started all this
Happy new year to all
Time to go in
Hopefully not too pass out lol
Don't be concerned. No Stress test here and never gonna happen.
Dont say never i did and i have never had any real health problems other than breaking parts lol
I failed one once.
So they made me go to the hospital, stick a camera up one of my viens and took pics of my heart, and I got to watch.
He gets up in there and says, "This is the healthiest heart on a fat man that I've ever seen"
It hurt badly down there for weeks. (where they inserted the camera)
that makes it better
Im 6 foot 250 so we'll see what they tell me
