Any chance dear Rocky Top is a hen???

Although I fear I already know the answer, is there any chance this sweet chicken is a hen? 8 weeks old and is much darker than other male barred rocks I see at this age. (s)he has dark wash feet too but this comb and waddles . And now I'm second guessing if it's even a Barred rock because of the comb. I've read they have a single comb but this doesn't look single. Any help is appreciated.

It is a cockerel, and he isn't a BR, I believe he's a mix.

Dominiques have rose comb while he has a modified pea comb. Dominique males would also have double barring and he is single barred. This bird is a mixed breed cockerel
