Any guesses on this hen?

    We have 2 of these, they showed up last year and stayed. They get broody(very good mamas), are on the small side, lay a slightly smaller and cream colored eggs.[​IMG][​IMG]

    Looks Like A Game Chicken To Me.. We Have Them And They Will Give You Lots Of Babies... Good Mommies.. Males Are Used For Fighting. But They Are Beautiful.. We Do Not Fight Them , Just Raise Them For Eggs And Their Beauty..

    Looks like a game to me too. They are VERY broody and lay a small tinted eggs.

    That is is an American Gamefowl hen of the grey variety and likely mixed with hatch, try Google search for Grey American Gamefowl

    Thanks! Now I'm wondering if somebody is raising fighting cocks around here. Like I said, they just showed up last year and adopted us. This lady just had a staggered hatch of 17 eggs. Not much of an egg layer, but an awesome mom.
