Any guesses on what breed and gender?

He/She is about 10 weeks old. Any ideas on what breed? I have a sneaking suspicion that it is a rooster. Thanks for your help!

Easter Egger. It looks like its hen feathered (has female coloring), but that tail looks a little suspicious to me. Can you get a good close up shot of its comb?

Most definitly an EE, and looks like a boy for the comb to be that red at 10 weeks.

You have a little EE cockerel there. He's getting darker red patches on his shoulders, a definite male thing.

Just FYI: "Hen feathered" means that a rooster has no pointed hackle or sickle feathers. His tail would look just like a hen's tail, as in Sebrights. It has nothing to do with the coloring.

x2. This roo isn't even finished getting in his feathers, so it's not really accurate to call him hen feathered. He's a juvenile and still has some growing to do.
