I ordered the assorted hatching eggs from Meyer hatchery and I'm having difficulty identifying the breeds even with the website and catalog. Help please! First timer![IMG]

First one looks like a speckled Sussex, second one could be a silver laced Wyandotte but a side shot would help, the last I think is a gold sex link. My best guesses.

I don't think the second is a Wyandotte. It's head pattern doesn't seem right to be a Wyandotte chicks, does it?

That's why I think a side shot would help. It could also be an Australorp. I have gotten some darker Wyandotte chicks in the last few years.

Look like a Speckled Sussex, Black Australorp, and Red Sexlink.

For the red sexlink is there any way to tell if it is male or female at this point?

If its a Red Sexlink, its a pullet.
