After 10year hietus. I decided to start brewing again! I wanted to make a batch of Ginger Ale but I couldn't find the 4 cases of bottles I USED to have so I went to the Home Brew Store to pick up a case of plastic screwtops for the soda. After I made the Ginger Ale I was cleaning out the garage and found my old fermenter, Joy of Homebrewing book, and a few odds -n- ends. Thumbing through the book I remembered how good my last batch of Scottish Ale tasted. I Dug up $100.00 in quarters I've been hiding (lost) around the house and bought a "starter kit" to get me back in the groove and replace some of the stuff that got "recycled". Once again the house was filled with the aromas of malted barley, and hops. I just set up a NorthWestern Pale Ale. Should be ready to bottle on the 11th.
