Any idea as to what this beautiful little gal is?

She is three days old and was sent as a Lakeshore Egger, but has anyone ever seen a black lakeshore egger? I am not sure as I have not seen many and hear they are all over the board, but this one even has furry legs. My friend's lakeshore egger does not have feathers on her legs at all. Any ideas from anyone as to if this indeed is a Lakeshore Egger?

I know, she is so cute, and sweet too! I just wonder if she really is a lakeshore egger tho. I guess time will tell, I am just impatient. lol

Black copper Marans have feathering on their legs, that does not really look like a black copper Marans for some reason, maybe it just looks too black. My Marans had white on it when it was a chick. My guess would be a black copper Marans.Whatever she is, she’s cute as a button!

Thank you for your insight! I am happy whatever she is, I just am really curious as she doesn't look like a lakeshore to me, but little chicks change so quickly, she may end up totally a different color later. We will see! haha

thank you! I think she is adorable too! I am just so impatient to know if she really is a lakeshore or not. I hope she is, as that is what I ordered. I also want a maran so bad it is not even funny, so either way, it's all good. Well, it is all good whatever she is. So, win/win. haha

Doesn't look like my BCM did. They ought to have some white on them as chicks. Black cochin, perhaps?
