What kind of bird is he? He's about 8 weeks old, we have two of roosters of this same breed. How are there tempors. We have 18 birds and 3 of them are Roosters.

Justin7, how do you know if they are hens or roosters? Like I said, I am brand spanking new at this and learning every moment.

I am still some what new as well. This flock is my first ever flock. We currently have 18 birds of 5 different types. Our whole flock is between 8-9 weeks old. From what I collected of everyone talking about cockerel to hen's. The biggest clue I have seen so far in this particular chick is his gobbler is coming in strong. On the sides of his beak there are reds things that are starting to show he is a male chick.
