Hi. I am a little unsure about the breed and gender of this chicken? I initially thought that they were going to be a rooster due to having shorter wings when little but no comb or wattle so far and about 6 weeks old. Regarding breed- feathers are starting to grow on its legs.

Still a bit young, but looks like a pullet for now. Update in 2-3 more weeks.

White chick on the right in the second pic is a cockerel.

Looks like a mixed breed. Where did you
get it?
Yeah there are four that are definitely roosters. I have four that I am pretty sure are hens and then this one (mystery!). All the chicks came from someone who couldn't look after them when they were about 2 days old. She has a mix of chickens and the chicks are quite a mix!

Mixed breed it is then. Likely contains Wyandotte.

My guess is ones marked as R are roos. You'll probably have to wait till they're 8 weeks old to be definitive.
