Any idea on breed or gender?

This is Rose and she (hopefully) is 6 weeks old. She is much larger than our other chicks, but they are a mix of random breeds, so not a good comparison. Any guesses if she’s a cockerel or pullet? Also breed? Thank you so much! I’m new to this!

Looks like a cockerel. I'm not sure on breed. From the coloring, I want to say black star, but they have sex-linked coloring, so if it was one it would have to be a female.

It is a female BSL, which develop early.

Thank you, everyone! This is very promising! We already have a rooster, and love all of our chicks so much. It would be devastating trying to rehome any of them.

I don't know about a cockerel or a hen, but I think I can confidently say she's a Black Sexlink. Wonderful birds.
