Looks like a Rhode Island Red variety. Does it have orangish colored eyes?

They are greenish. I was just curious with the Mohawk because I've never had a hen w that.

Keep in mind that I am a total amateur and only commenting/researching as a learning experience, and maybe a pro will clear this up, but I don't think RIR's can have green eyes. I did a quick Google search and found that Buckeyes can have green eyes (not a desirable show trait). Could it be a Buckeye? I've never owned a pea combed bird, but maybe that Mohawk is related to the pea comb?

It's some type of mixed breed. The most common clean legged bird with a crest is a Polish, so that's as good a guess as any.

    Probably a Polish mix.
