I'm new to all of this, but I sure think that Polka Dot is awfully cute.
I'm not real good at this but by what reference material and books I have it looks like it may be a Delaware. Description I have says they will grow to be mostly white, but tail and neck feathers are striped with black bars. Dual purpose breed good large brown egg producer and superior meat characteristics. Roosters average 8.5 lbs and hens 6.5 lbs. Single combs-- Very Heat and cold tolerant--Broody--calm disposition and likes confinement or free range.
Well the coloring could be a splash. Yellow should turn white and the spots should turn a black or blue. It could also be a black and white mottled breed like houdan, but I don't know what thier chicks look like. Post thus pick in breed and gender.
are its legs feathered?
She looks like a California White to me.
