Hello all,

we got the mystery Bantam hen as an egg, from a friend of our who has a random hodgepodge of birds. He doesn't even know what he has! We hatched 3, two were white roosters and then there was this little black hen we named Pepper. She is mostly black, white a little white lacing around her neck. Her facial skin is white, as are her legs. She is about 12-16 weeks old. Any thoughts?? 20210108_221552.jpg 20210108_221513.jpg 20210108_221218.jpg 20210108_221222.jpg 20210108_221236.jpg

Mutt.
Possible a Silver Laced Sebright mix. What is her leg color?
Her legs are white. I had some golden seabrights that had blue legs, not sure what a silver seabright would have? I don't think my friend had any seabrights (aside from the fact that he has recently taken my two golden roos but that was well after these eggs were given to me to hatch).

With that rose comb I agree with sebright mix.

Feathered or clean legged?
Clean legged. I agree she has the same comb as my seabrights had. I'll have to ask my friend if he ever did have any seabrights but if he did, I didn't know about it as I would have loved to have a silver one with my goldens!
