Hey all! I'm new to this board and new to chickens as well! We got some chicks from the local feed store and I have no idea what this little chick is. She's 2 weeks old but much smaller than the other chicks that we got at the same time. She also has this bump of fluff on her head. I think she's just darling but am wondering what she will look like when she's older. Any help?

Are those black legs and does it have five toes? It may be a partridge silkie.

She is cute! I just love her.

She does have feathers on her legs. This is our first go round with chickens but I don't think we have any other banties (that means small chickens right?) We have 5 barred rock, 1 rhode island red and 1 mystery yellow chick. They all seem to be the same size.

Oh no! Silkies are evil. You don't own Silkies. They own you.

Congrats on an adorable find at the feedstore. Mine never have anything but leghorns or sexlinks.
