I got these ducklings from someone who got them from someone who said they were "Not the right type" and did not want them. They were hatched on the tenth of this month and that is all the info i have on em. I have had ducks before but not ducklings so i had to do a crash course in ducklings. Fortunately they are not horribly different than chicks. Well....except for the MESS!!!! LOL

The gray ones look like blue swedish.
The black ones look like runners (the facial shape) but could be Cayugas if they don't have the runner stance.

At this age you would need to vent sex them. But if you wait until they are 8 or so weeks old, you can voice sex them

Well i tried the vent sexing lol. Very in experienced but my guess is one drake and three ducks. IThink the black one we call "Special Duck" might be male.

Do ducks settle down? I have had them for two weeks and handle them daily. They still freak out and run when i open the cage. They try to get away the whole time i hold them and quack loudly lol. They are adorable! Looks like they are just starting to get tail feathers in. Even at this age some are much more vocal than others.
