She looks a lot like my Black Sexlinks (Buff Orpington x Barred Rock):

I had 22 of them and they varied a lot in color. Some had more spots, others more speckles, lot's of different color patterns, some were nearly all black, others almost all gold.

From her chick picture, I would say that Red is not a common hatchery Black Sexlink (Rhode Island Red x Barred Rock). I've hatched many chicks of this cross, and none of them ever had red cheeks, or red anywhere, until they started feathering in. They hatch out black with a little bit of white here and there.

Well, it's definitely possible that Red is a BSL. She came from the same bin as my other BSLs.
