This was my surprise free chick from McMurray - I can’t for the life of me figure out what he/she is. It’s about 2.5 months old. I asked here when it was a few weeks old but no one knew then either.

Yes! He's the smallest of my flock, but he was the first one to get out of the brooder, and now I can barely keep up with him. I just hope my two larger barred rock roosters don't bully him too much. They don't seem to bother him so far, but they're young...Cockerel and they are very sweet birds and very busy bodies mine go 100mph
I had 7 other cockerels in with mine and he ruled the roost and they were all bigger than himYes! I can see that happening!I had 7 other cockerels in with mine and he ruled the roost and they were all bigger than him
I’m still learning with mine too! She is very sweet but a bit flighty! I also have a silver spangled Hamburg hen (named Wolfie (I did not name her) ! Wolfie didn’t used to be as sweet as Maple is and was actually flightier (but now she’s calmer and nice)! Here’s my Maple sleeping with Wesley-Thanks, y'all! Do any of you have any experience with this breed? He seems to be pretty sweet towards me so far, but he's very active...and he's the smallest of my flock.
