Any ideas on the breed of these two little birds?

A friend gave these two to me. She did not know what breed they were because someone bought them for her at a swap and did not get information about their breed. She wanted to keep them because they have very friendly personalities, but decided against it because they appear to be bantams. They are about 7 to 8 weeks old. I was thinking that they might be d'anvers because of the rose combs, but I don't see the beards. Any opinions?

hmmm, they are interesting....looking like a pair(?) too. I am interested to see what they are

I have d'anvers, they aren't d'anvers...no beard/muff

(unless I am just not seeing it, or it's growing in?)

Do you know where you got them.
They seem to have the Mille Fleur patern on the Belgian Bearded d'Anvers body.

Yes, they do look like they might be a pair. I hope they're not, though, because I can't keep a rooster.
