Any ideas on these two's gender

    We think these are hens, but the white one has started crowing and the other has occasionally. A rooster born with them, from same parents [mixed silkie and something else] has a proper comb..

    10 chickens, 3 guineas, too many roosters, bullied Sultans.. overwhelmed with lack of chicken lore and facilities!!

    Quote:they are both roosters. notice the feathers around their neck (hackle feathers) are long slinder and pointed at the tips means they are roos, they should also have long slinder pointed feathers on their backs (saddle feathers)
