I got her from a friend last November, and they weren't sure what breed she is and neither am I so I thought since you guys are pretty good at guessing breeds maybe you can give it a shot and try to figure it out. She is very pretty. Not sure how old she is, but she hasn't started laying yet so she can't be that old. She's also not the friendlist bird, she's very skidish, and scared of people so when she was a chick I don't think she has much interaction with people. She is getting better though, and will occationaly eat food out of my hand. So here she is, take a shot at her breed.

Wow... at first I was going to say Brahma, until I got to her non-feathered legs. Maybe she's a Brahma cross?

I'd say dark brahma mix- it doesn't look like she has feathering on her feet.

Yeah that's what I thought she was when we got her some type of Brahma mix but no feathered feet, and your right her face is a little strange for a brahma also, her wattles almost looked like they were dubbed [IMG]

Quote:Wow, the silver penciled plymoth rock looks just like here, except she has a different comb. so maybe she is a SP plymoth rock and dark brahma mix? But she almost exactly looks like the silver penciled wyandotte.

Quote:No, she has a rose comb not a single. She looks like a wyandotte to me.
