My son's school cook has chickens , she is gonna try to get 4-6 for the hatching project in his class that starts next week if we can get eggs. She says they are Large white chickens with black speckling that lay white eggs and she says they lay an egg every single day.
    Any ideas.

sounds like leghorns, except for the black speckling [IMG]

    California Whites gets my vote.

They look just like the CW chicks I got this year. I wanted a white egg layer because I like the contrast of the whites eggs with all of the different colors I already have.

I sell my rainbow eggs and they make such a pretty package all mixed together!

thank you all I talked to here again and she said they are kinda like barred rock but more white and less black. Now we just have to decide who lays white and not brown and are large hehe. this is kinda fun,
