Any luck with this incubator and duck eggs

Hello all. My son got this incubator for Christmas. He has tried the quail eggs they sent and a duck egg with no luck. He is quite loyal to the instruction but the quail eggs failed and the duck egg was not fertile. Has anyone ever hatched a duck from this incubator? We have one pekin and one buff, our male is a pekin. Thank you,

I've never had luck with that one. I got it for Christmas one year and tried egg after egg for MONTHS. They started, but never finished. My parents upgraded me to a Hovabator 1602 N... bare basic model... and everything I set hatched, though they were all eggs from my flock. Didn't have any issues until I started buying shipped eggs as a grown up. lol

Thank you for your input. He was pretty dissapointed when they didn't hatch. We are considering getting a more expensive model.
