I emailed about 2 weeks ago to add my name for a couple of those hens from the organic egg farm in PA that's closing. I haven't heard anything new. [IMG] Does anyone know if things are moving along? [IMG] I know that the situation is sticky as the owner of the property and isn't the owner of the hens, just the eggs. Then hens are owned by another group. [IMG] I just wish I knew what the status was. 16,000 hens need homes or they go to slaughter [IMG]

[IMG] The farmer didn't own the hens. so it is a no go.

edit: that is wha tthe email I got back said. So I told them to keep me in mind for the future.

So, he is closing the business and the owners of the hens have to relocate them to another farm? How is THAT going to work? I feel so bad for those poor hens [IMG]
