BUT, enough about me, what vocal type are you? And what arias/operas have you preformed?

I'm a tenor, at least until I wake up and eat breakfast. [IMG]

Quote:I'm saying I would like to be a tenor, and technically my range probably is, but I wouldn't sing in public. I'm more of an Italian Tenor fan but love most opera.

It's nice to see an opera thread though. I know of another person here on BYC who sang opera. Let's see if I can poke her....

There was just one thing that kept me from being the Met's leading baritone of all time, my voice. If not for that, I'd've been... sighhhhhhhh

    I sing like a bird. Unfortunately, it's a crow.

Quote:Is that kinda like a contralto? Like in baroque or Renaissance music?

Or like in Anne Rice's book "Cry to Heaven"?

I have played classical cello for 38 years, but my voice sucks.

Years ago I understudied for Meg Ghery and Eponine (2 different seasons), while doing alot of choir work, but honesty It paid very little, and after a year I was quite happy to take a desk job. PC got a lulaby out of me the other night, but after 10 years my voice is good, but no longer great.
