I love her books! With exception of the last one I read, was it Southern Cross (?) totally different from her others and I didn't like it.

YES, all based in the Arizona desert.... REALLY good books. Like Cornwell, the same characters are in every book.

I think she gets in a funk from time to time. The last one I read "Predator" about gave me the heebie jeebies, I LOVED it.
