The "Hobby Farms" magazine empire is also experimenting with a just-chickens oriented magazine, I forget its title, but it's only had one trial issue and I have no idea whether it will become a regular thing, and the content is totally nothing that you can't get by reading books and online.
Books and online are really a MUCH better use of your dollar than magazines IMHO -- the main virtue of magazines is if you want to read the ads <g>
