This is our first time with chickens, all were supposed to be pullets. Any different opinions? I also do not know for sure what breeds they are.

Greetings from Kansas, rcookiegirl, and [IMG]! Pleased you joined our flock! I shy away from gender guesses since I'm usually wrong - and I see you've posted in the What Breed or Gender Forum so I'll just say best wishes and thanks for joining BYC! [IMG]

Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you.

Those are far too young to tell. Try again with new photos when they are 8-12 weeks of age.

G’Day from down under rcookiegirl [IMG] Welcome!

As mentioned here and on the Gender Forum, they are still a little bit too young to tell for sure, but if they were mine, at this stage I would be thinking, gender wise, three of each but then I get it wrong with mine all the time [IMG]

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: ‘Find your State’s thread.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]

when they are older you can post photos at "what breed or gender is this." I've seen them on that thread and probably answered the same way.
