There is a guy selling some chicks on craigslist, said they crossed Black Turkens with a Blue Orp. They look kind of cool.... I'm thinking of getting a couple. I'm not familiar with Turkens
at all... What do you guys think of this breed?

    Thanks

    Nancy

I actually have a blue Turken(among other colors) that I purchased from poultrylady. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my turkens. At first I thought they were not for me and that no one would like them but I went ahead and got some. I am GLAD I did. They are super sweet and mine will follow me all over the yard. I didn't get them as little chicks but rather they were already a few months old if I'm not mistaken. They warmed up really quick. If I were where you are I would buy them up. They definatly get all the looks from visitors.

  4. Hi! I think that would be an awesome cross.
They should be great layers with friendly dispositions.

I honestly have no idea how to ship birds. Starting a new thread.
