You can tell by feathers, yes, but saddle feathers only when they’re at least 12 weeks old.

No, male specific saddle feathering comes in at 12 weeks. It's very rare to be able to tell gender by any means on purebred chicks before six weeks of age, but comb and wattles can start to give away cockerels at six weeks.

Does it look like a pure breed cuz I hatched them myself. With MGG's help I think I drove her crazy until they were hatched. What kind of breed do you think they are.
