Anyone Else expecting Chicks today from Ideal?? Mine are HERE!!

I am expecting 5 cuckoo marans and 5 welsummers.

I just called the Post Office and the mail is late in being delivered to them. The wait is killing me.....

Hopefully, they will call soon and let me know they are there and alright!!


I get six extra this time of something, I think they maybe some sort of Bantams. They seem smaller.

Many hatcheries do not email when they mail chicks; it would be great! I just got 100 from Meyer and I usually get them the next day. Was 2 days this time. Lost 2. Drives you insane doesn't it. We get shipments at our post office around 4 am and 9 am. So if I'm expecting chicks I can't leave for work until after 9:30. Kind of ruins the day. They are worth the wait. I did have a hatchery that had a bad hatch and just forgot to tell me that they were postponed a week. Made me sick waiting. Finally called on the 3rd day of waiting.

I am expecting 12 pullets from Ideal. Since they didn't arrive today, they should be here tomorrow. I ordered the surprise mix, so I am excited to see what they've sent.
