just wanted to see if anyone ever tried to hatch a cracked egg. what did you use to cover the crack?
Hey there...I have a Toulouse goose egg cooking right now under a broody that is candled and GOOD so far. I used crazy glue to seal up the crack, but I have also heard of people having luck with candle wax & clear nail polish. This was a hairline crack, but is was about 3 inches long......so we'll see!
yes, there are people here that have had success hatching cracked eggs.. If I remember right the trick was to melt candle wax over the crack to seal it back up.
