Anyone have experience with one legged chickens?

I just got news from my vet that my girl Ginger"s broken femur is going to leave her with one working leg. She used to be a free range chicken but a heavy car hood slammed on her and totally broke off her femur. The vet said she is not in pain and should heal just have a leg that is unusable.

She can move really well and even run. Has anyone else experienced one legged chicken?

They can live a good life. One problem that sometimes arises is that flock mates may pick on them. Just monitor her closely for possible abuse.

Yeah I've been keeping an eye out. One of my jershy Giants got in and attacked her. She's with her sister right now
