I'd like to see some as well. I have 50+ chickens. How many do you have?

This may help you. Its a 12x20 with a concrete floor with a run on each
end. Plenty of room to expand if need be as we have around 20 chickens
at present with 25 or so on the way. Room for plenty more nesting
boxes and we can open up both ends of the run if required. Presently
there is a garden in one end and we alternate season to season
with the garden. Great soil after the chickens roam for a few months
and they make quick work of the left over greenery from the garden at
the end of the season. We live on the coast of South Carolina and it
never gets really cold so it doesn't need to be fully enclosed. I have no idea where my wife found the pictures of one similar but it works well
and everyone is happy. On to the pictures:

jimmoose: First.. Welcome to BYC! Second... great coop and run. What a great idea to have your garden 'with' your run area so you can alternate. Nice job.[IMG]

    Jimmoose,

Great setup! I am impressed! I love your idea of alternating the chicken run with the garden.

Almost forgot, I was so enthralled with jimmoose's coop.

K-chick, it you go all the way to the top of the page, there is a button for coop designs. It's fabulous, I look in there and [IMG] .

Wow! Thats a great run and coop. And I did check out the coop design link at the top of the page. How about any coops that hold 50 to 100 hens. Maybe that category would be "huge" coops.[IMG]
