I am wanting to cross silkies with LF EEs to hopefully get hens that go broody very often like silkies, but are a larger size so they could hold more eggs because I am planning on buying some rare breed eggs and I want to set with a hen instead of the incubator.

So does anyone have any pics of Silkies crossed with EEs? or with BRs, BOs, Wyans, or any other LF breed?

    Thanks

Wow they are similar, even have the same head as my girl.
she's bantam silkies crossed with brahma or cochin I think.

This is here with some BC Marans she hatched.

My Silkie could be crossed with a Marans or a Legbar. They were all in the same shed together, apparently [IMG]
