Anyone here use " spent grains " from beer brewers to feed their chickens

Anyone out there using " spent grain" from homebrewers??

Hello Hoosier BYCers....I have an opportunity to get with a home brewer and receive his " spent grains " my Q is....assuming it needs to be dried out before offering to chickens, how do you all dry them out? Thanks for your replies.....

Never mind and Thanks anyway as I found this with a couple searches......

I brew my own beer and my chickens love the spent grain. I bag it in 1 gallon freezer bags and keep it refrigerated or freeze it. During the hot Texas summer, I would cut the bag off a big ball of spent grain. It was a big grain Popsicle for my 4 birds. See the birds in action below.
