anyone here volenteer at an animal shelter???

i was wondering if anyone volunteers at an animal shelter cuz i got a few questions.
how old do you have to be to start volunteering cuz ive been wanting to volunteer for years and hopefully catch a glimpse of my cat wich i had to give away

It might be different for some shelters, for ours you have to complete orientation training. The minimum age for volunteering is 8, and anyone under 18 needs an adult with them.

I would suggest to either call or look at their website if they have one to find some more information.
I had always wanted to volunteer since I was 14 but never did.
