I had a mother plucker lined up to rent today and the owner said the last guy who rented it hasn't returned it. Our birds are already 8.5 weeks and I can't wait much longer. [IMG] If anyone in central IN has one they would be willing to rent, that would be AWESOME! [IMG]

I had the best luck with craigslist when I need to rent a plucker on short notice! Good luck!

There is a video of it in action somewhere....hmmm I thought it was on that page. I will post a link if I come across it.

Looks similar to the one I used but smaller. I could do 3 birds at a time! Just in case, you do know the listing is just for the fingers right?

    Thanks!
We did 5 CornishX yesterday by hand just to stock up on chicken and take care of the larger birds. I'll keep looking for a plucker, but in the meantime ordered the Whizbang instruction manual and the Kent fingers so we can make our own. I think we can gather up the rest of the parts locally. Maybe we'll rent ours sometime down the road. [IMG]
