Anyone Know About Barred Plymouth Rocks Please?

Can someone please confirm or deny my guesses?

Chick 1: Little Rooster

Chick 2: Pullet

Chick 3: Rooster

Chick 4: Pullet???? (Legs have the most grey of them all, right down to end of toes...but....look at the head spot??)

I'm going to say you have all cockerels, unfortunately.

Last one is a pullet. The leg color is more accurate than the head spots.

Yes they are purebred Barred Plymouth Rocks, imported from Australia.

Color wise I was thinking then that maybe the more silvery looking ones might be roosters? Aren't they supposed to be lighter in their final feathering?

Well, I did order Black Australorp eggs at the same time But, these aren't Australorps right? The eggs arrived unmarked, but the 3 BA are smaller and definitely different to these 4.

No, not Australorps. They won't have a head spot, the head spot means barring.

I think the Aussie standards allow single barred males, though. In the US it's only double barred males and single barred females. If that's the case, you can't rely on the "rules" of barring, cause single barred males look identical to females at this point.

Ok, so no further opinions on these babies? From everything I've read about Barred Plymouth Rock chicks you should be able to tell even at this young age whether or not they're males/females by looking at their head spots and leg coloring. Anyone here know about BPR specifically please?
