I have a friend who would like to know what kind of chicken breed this is. From behind she looks exactly like one of my Welsummers.
My guess was a silky half breed (It has feathers on it's legs). She lays blue eggs. Any guesses? Thanks :)

    Just a regular easter egger.

She is mixed. Could have silkie in her background, but could also have cochin - they have feathered legs. Or brahma..

She doesn't have a crest, so I would say if she ever did have silkie in there, it was a while back in her line.

My guess would be a ameraucana mix. They lay blue eggs as well. Plus she has the pouf by the beak.

Definitely Easter Egger, with something feather-legged in her background (Brahma, Cochin, etc).

Gorgeous ladies!! The one in the back ground is a Rhode Island Red, and the one in question is an Easter egg..and possibly mixed with something else. GORGEOUS girlies!!
