anyone know what type of chickens these two are

I was given these two a while ago but Im not sure what breed they are. I thought maby a Araucana cross just because of their cheeks but they seem a lot smaller than my Araucanas, although in saying that they could also be a lot younger.
The second one is a rooster, right?

Just a note, I am in New Zealand. I think the standards for Araucana here are a lot different then in the USA, and more like the UK Araucanas.
In saying that Im no expert so could be completely wrong

Don't know a breed but I know they don't look like araucana of any standard since they have single combs and not a pea or modified pea comb. I would say both are hens, just one might be closer to or is laying and the other isn't.

I agree, they don't look much like UK Araucanas. Not sure what they could be, since you have different breeds of chickens than we do in the US.

I also agree that they are both pullets. The one with the large comb should lay soon.

They are NOT ameraucana, they could be an easter egger or just a barnyard mix breed

I'm going to guess Belgian Bearded D'Anver crossed with something that has a single comb...

Pea comb is a dominant trait, so I would geuss against that, second the tuffs on the neck ear area are from pure bred aruacana but the colors are all wrong
