I thought it would be neat to make a rag rug but not sure where to start. Can anyone recommend a good book or website to get started and if you have any pics of ones you have completed that would be awesome!

    Thanks!

Ive got a copy of the instructional book I got from my aunt last year which I have seen her works! They are beautiful! This one is for flat rectangle ones and not braided, but wroven like a blanket. The loom is removable when completed.

I would have to dig up the instructional book and find out what exactly you need. I know a loom is one of them.

We have several that my mother in law made. She crochets them. I love them. It reminds me of my grandmas house.

I have an older Union No. 36 loom and weave rag rugs, I have never tried to braid one tho.

I've always wanted to weave a rug with a loom.

I'll have to ck and see if you can still acquire them. [IMG]
