Anyone own a NewFoundLand?

I have a Newfoundland mix (Newfie, St. Bernard?, lab, and something else, I think), but I don't have pictures. He kinda looks like a Newfie, except slightly less fluffy and slightly thinner build. He definitely has the face and feet though.
For personality, he's really lovable and sweet, except he hates loud noises. He can be noisy (mostly whining), but he only really barks during the night, but hardly ever in during the day. He loves to swim in the dirty pond, lay in the pool and in puddles, but hates baths.
Anyway, I think they're a good breed to get.

Newfies are fantastic dogs. Very docile and love water. Excellent with children and not wandering off.
That will be our next outdoor dog..

My daughter has one. He's a big beautiful boy. He's great with the kids, cats, and chickens. He's very mellow and well behaved in the house. Just a wonderful dog.

I do, indeed! This is my Stoli after a swim this summer:

I've never met a dog that loves water more than she does. Doesn't matter the temperature, if there water is open she is in it! She's 11.5yrs old.

How many dogs do you have? I know you posted the ACD on the other thread before (also gorgeous) but do you have any others?
