Hello--

I was searching Netflix and came across a movie called Duck. Has anyone seen it? I just don't want to watch it if something bad happens to the duck.

Duck (2005) PG-13

Esteemed character actor Philip Baker Hall scores a rare star turn as Arthur Pratt, a lonely widower whose life finds renewed purpose when a duckling mistakes him for his mother. Together, this odd couple wanders Los Angeles on foot, searching for a new home. Writer-director Nicole Bettauer's quietly touching indie drama screened at the Hollywood Film Festival and won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at Cinequest in Las Vegas.

Genre: Indie Dramas
This movie is: Dark, Understated
Format: DVD and streaming

It is a good movie though.... very sad. Sometimes sad movies can be good. You can see what happens to this guy when he gets old and how he has a great bond with this duck.

"Does your duck do any tricks? " No hes a duck.... thats enough.

Just the trailer had me wiping a tear from my eye. I cant find any information as to if was ever released in Australia. I will have to keep looking- sounds like a great movie after the initial sad scene - but as always...im sure there is a disclaimer stating no animals were harmed during the filming..

Only Available as a region 1 release... I guess I will be reading the book then.
