I was at Williams-Sonoma a while back (only browsing, mind you). I was coveting the Le Creuset pots & noticed something weird on the laminated price sheet. It said was something like this:

8 quart - retail price $199 Williams-Sonoma price $179 (ok, I get that)
12 quart - retail price $349 Williams-Sonoma price $409 (say what?!?)

Cute dishes but the whole mixing English with French thing drives me nuts. Either make is all French or all English.

Don't try to be something you're not. Arg.
