Anyone use a Kane Creep feeder?

I was at an auction and picked up a Kane Creep feeder. I didn't win anything else while I was there, but I did get the feeder for $3.00 I figured for that price, I'd give it a try. Has anyone here used this type of feeder for their chickens?

I use something similar, a #88 Sanitary feeder for pigs that I got at TSC, back then about $13..
Similar to a rabbit "J" feeder.
It's has an adjustable plate in the hopper so you can set how much feed goes in the trough part.

Looks like a good feeder. It also looks like a gas can
