Hey! Here is the questions we all ask…. Are these pullets? They are 4 week old BR. I didn’t get pics of all of them because I kept losing who was who. They are supposed to be pullets and we aren’t allowed to have Roos. 1 pic has all of them in the brooder. Light matters on their color

The first 2 pics are the same chicken I think.. 😜

All appear to be pullets. We recommend pics at 6 weeks though for better accuracy. Please post updated pics in 2 more weeks.
Ok. Here is one I’m worried about being a cockerel. This is 6.5 weeks old. He’s not much lighter then the others and other are also pinking up, this one is just more.

If you do ever end up with a Roo, go to your local feed store and ask if they know of anyone who runs a farm-animal rescue near you. Or google it. You never know. I lucked out unexpectedly with my two surprise Roos and was able to rehome them right away. Just an idea.

Thank you! I will keep that in mind. I did find a Roo sanctuary and put in a “just in case” application. I don’t want any of my animals going to the wrong place!
