I lost my favorite pullet today to a hawk (we think) and I was already wanting to order more chicks due to our rooster to hen ratio. We ordered a straight run and I sort of regret it. I only want to order about 8 chicks, so if anyone else out there wants to order a few chicks but does not want to order the 25+ needed for shipping I would like to work together to get them. Or if you are already ordering 25 and would be willing to let me tack 8 chicks on, I would appreciate it greatly. Obviously I would pay the cost of my chicks and we would have to work out whose house they were sent to, and when the other party would come get their chicks. As long as we are not ordering the same varieties, I can easily tell my chicks apart (having already raised some of each kind).
